To ensure continuity of high-quality services, the following standards and objectives shall be achieved by the Contractor by recruiting, retaining and managing qualified staff in order to maintain the highest level of productivity to:

  • Facilitate the process of orienting local government authorities in MKUKUTA II goals and strategies and WSDP Implementation Manual guidelines for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation.

  • Facilitate local government authorities through the process of leveraging WSDP funding, and strengthening LGA’s skills in Demand Responsive Approaches (DRA) as demanded by the National Water Policy, and adopting market based systems for WASH service delivery.

  • Facilitate LGAs’ to adapt and adopt MKUKUTA II operation targets for water and sanitation that are translated into WSDP component two (2) revised results framework .Coordination support: Strengthen WSDP component two (2) coordination mechanism at RS and LGA levels by facilitating meetings and following up on agreed actions.

  • Facilitate the Regional Water Sanitation Teams (RWST) and District Water and Sanitation Team (DWST) meetings agreed actions to improve the performance of the NSC and 10 village water supply schemes initiatives.

  • Other tasks that are requested by TTL intended at supporting scaling up of rural water supply and sanitation.
