The objective of this consultancy is to develop effective support interventions for increasing the availability of basic sanitation products to poor rural Tanzanian consumers that can be taken up and implemented nationally through the Government’s sanitation program. The consultancy will design, and undertake operational research (field test) in about 5 representative sample districts and review the interventions tested towards developing an operations manual. The firm will continuously and systematically evaluate the adequacy and appropriateness of the selected intervention model(s) in achieving the operational targets for sanitation as required by MKUKUTA and the WSDP revised results framework.
